In recent years, with the popularization of smartphone and the rapid development of mobile internet, the performance requirement for the mobile telecom carriers’ network is growing increasingly higher. Meanwhile, the base station that supports service interface for users plays a key role in the entire mobile network system. Therefore, the timely and effective control of the alarms that are produced by the base station system, and to ensure the normal running of base station system are among the most important issues that mobile telecom carriers focus on.System of "Comprehensive Alarm Management System for Mobile Network" developed by our research group in2011aims to monitor alarms that BTS equipment produced. With the spread of3G network and need to monitor the BSC equipment, the alarm monitoring of BSC equipment in3G network and RNC equipment in2G network is extremely urgent.This thesis aims to help improve the efficiency of mobile network through real-time alarm monitoring for equipment monitoring and maintenance staff to find equipment alarms based on BSC and RNC equipment of mobile company. The alarm monitoring system consists of BSC monitoring module, RNC monitoring module, stopped base station notifying module, and flash stopping analysis module. Firstly, the BSC monitoring module mainly solves the problem of two minutes of background collection’s cycle, forcing alarm collection progress from serial to parallel, and the alarm analysis and comparison employs memory variable dealing technology, overcoming the shortcomings of slow querying of database; Secondly, the RNC monitoring module presents alarms of RNC equipment rapidly and accurately through setting alarm filters, aiming to solve the problems of varieties and large quantities of alarms; Thirdly, the Stopped base station notifying module consists of stopped base station notifying program based windows and client program based on Android. And the communication format between them is JSON; At last, the thesis analyses the flash stopping preliminarily, providing evidences of alarm correction and preliminary discussion for the forecasting model.The system mentioned in this thesis has been employed by China Mobile in one city in China. In the system, the collecting cycle of BSC alarm is one minute, the number of alarms is20thousand per day, and the number of RNC alarms is10thousand per day; The Faults notifying module enables alarms to monitoring and maintenance staff in3minutes.The preliminary analysis of alarm correction for flash stopping provides a foundation of alarm forecasting in the future.
