Nowadays, with the popularity of electronic office and increment of paper writing, people are using Office tools more frequently than before. A well-formatted Microsoft Word file, a neat-formed Microsoft Excel file and a pretty-looked Microsoft PowerPoint file have been the goal of most successful business people. However, taking Word file for example, people spend a large amount of time on file format modification out of total accomplishment time. Some of them even spend most of time on it, which causes big waste of time and effort.Actually, for those files with fixed format regulation, people can customize models in advance to avoid time wasting. By doing this, people can spend more time on content enrichment instead of format decoration, which helps a lot in improving file quality.After deep research on this field at home and abroad, I find most people are using Word software of Microsoft to edit and format, which is a visual, fast and convenient way for single file modification. However, it is unable to do what one hopes to do when dealing with large amount of files with fixed file format like graduation paper. Some people in China try to get basic element information according to Word file format and generate RTF file. After that, they invoke Com interface of Word and change RTF file to Word file. However, this method is complex and not open-source, which is not a good solution for this problem.This software plans to adopt OpenXML regulation to create new file and modify format for Microsoft Word file version2007and newer version. OpenXML is an open standard for word processing document, presentation file and spreadsheet, which can be used freely on multi-platform. Microsoft Word files version2007and newer version all follow this regulation. Meanwhile, there are lots of methods and tools to deal with XML files, so it is an efficient and fast way to deal with formatting problem based on open-source and free OpenXML.
