| Fingerprint recognition technology is a kind of biometric technology, because of itsuniqueness of fingerprints and invariance characteristics of fingerprint recognition technologyhas been applied in more and more occasions. However, many other advantages of highaccuracy and low cost, so that it is considered the most effective means of authentication.Although this technology has a variety of molded products, but due to the commercialinterests of the many core technologies were not disclosed at the same time, the technologycontinues to evolve so that we put forward higher requirements on the performance of thesystem, so in research in the field, still has important theoretical significance and practicalvalue.This paper mainly researches the basic principles of digital image of the fingerprintidentification system and does more in-depth analysis on process. First, the basiccharacteristics of the fingerprint digital image recognition principle and fingerprint image arediscussed in detail. Secondly, in the digital fingerprint image pre-processing part of this paper,the various pretreatment steps: digital image segmentation, digital image enhancement, value,image thinning and process the meaning of a detailed analysis. And through Matlab GUIsystems interface to the fingerprint image preprocessing process, fingerprint pretreatmentprocess visualization, provides a platform for designing better preprocessing algorithm, theGUI software design, algorithm selection and research have some application value. |
