Precision guidance technology is the development trend of modern weapons, infraredimaging guidance have got rapid development for the superiorities of its low cost, all-weatherwork and good concealment. As the front-end processing, image processing and recognitionthat target detection is the key technology and research hot spot of the infrared imagingguidance system, it plays a great important role in the improvement of weapeon precisionstrike capability. The infrared imaging detection identification system mainly includes image processing, target detection and recognition modules, etc. Based on the characteristics of infrared image, the thesis first has carried on the image processing, and transformed from the spatial domainand frequency domain to enhance the potential target in the image, it suppressed theinterference of the complex background and clutter, improved the signal-to-noise ratio of theimage after processing and target detection probability. Then, the single infrared image targetdetection and sequence image target detection methods are introduced, after study of thealgorithms, MATLAB simulation have been used to confirm the reliability of the proposedalgorithms. Next, according to the effective feature imformation in the target area, the papermade it has the largest similarity with similar goals, used discriminant algorithm to identifyspecific classifier model or substantially makesure the schema attributes and got therecognition result. Finally, image smoothing, image sharpening and moving target detectionwas realized with the help of control board of SEED-DEC643privided by the SEED-DTKseries of DSP teaching experiment platform.
