Distributed application system has been widely used by virtue of its good performance. But with thecontinuous expansion of the system’s scale, the processing of ultra-large-scale data storage becomes a problemand the complexity and non-standardization of communication protocol leads to the mismatch between protocoland equipment which results in a waste of resource. To solve these problems, this thesis studies the principle ofaddressing resolution and communication protocol, designs addressing in specific application based on IPv6,designs and realizes the general functions of Polling protocol.The main research content of this thesis is as follows:(1) Several concepts related to network communication are formally defined by set theory.(2)In order to resolve the address shortage results from the increasing number of nodes, a new method ofaddressing on the basis of IPv6is proposed. First, the characteristics of IPv6and actual demand are deeply studied.Then, combined with the distributed naming system, the prefix of IPv6address, planning space and thecharacteristics of application type are analyzed. Finally, a method of addressing based on naming is proposed.(3) This thesis applies the naming system-combined IPv6addressing method to Chord ring in the P2Pnetwork. First, IPv6addresses are segmented by hash algorithm, then the finger table of the multi-ring structure isoptimized and finally an improved Chord algorithm based on multi-ring and IPv6is designed. Experimentalresults show that the improved algorithm can effectively reducing the number of average lookup hop count whichimproves the efficiency of resource querying while maintaining Chord’s other performance.(4) This thesis summarizes the general functions of the various protocols and distributed applications anddesigns the general functions in a standard manner based on the characteristics of Polling protocol. And areal-time monitoring system of parcel is designed and realized, experimental results show that the method isefficient and convenient in specific applications and has good expansibility and reliability.
