With the rapid development of information technology, Wireless Sensor Network is becominga new research hot in information technology. However, as the exist of the the inherentcharacteristics of the wireless sensor network such as built without central, self-organization anddynamic topology, there are still some unresolved security problems in the MAC protocol layer.Nodes in the network are vulnerable to attack. This thesis analyzes the impacts of several possible attacks on performance of wireless sensornetwork, based on the study of IEEE802.15.4MAC layer packets vulnerabilities. The maliciousnode can exploit these vulnerabilities on the MAC protocol to corrupt the monitoring and routingprocesses. Furthermore, this paper proposes a solution based on the control packet authentication inorder to prevent these attacks. This thesis proposes the reputation evaluation system to deal with thenode’s behaviors. Realization of the evaluation system gives an effective quantitative standard ofpenalties according to specific action of nodes. Nodes that are members of the system will monitorthe behavior of neighbors and update neighbors’ reputation value. Malicious neighbor will beexcluded from the network finally. In addition, the solution also achieves the authentication of thesource node and the false blocking attacks towards the channels comprehensively. On the other side, some defects of the existed validation solution are discussed under a particular condition, andimproved scheme is provided according to the shortage of existed validation solution. After all, thesolution is implemented on NS simulation platform. The simulations’ results of the solution showthat the attacks are prevented and the negative impacts are significantly reduced. |
