This dissertation is a study of key management and security certification technology in wirelesssensor networks research filed. First of all, it describes the classification of network architecture forsensor networks, as one is distributed sensor network and the other is cluster sensor networks. Inaddition, it also shows some application scenarios of wireless sensor networks, and thus leads to adescribing of sensor network security issues. The theoretical basis of the password is the ellipticcurve cryptosystem, in order to describe the proposed technical scheme more clearly, it introducesthe detail of theory and applications of elliptic curve cryptosystem. In accordance with key management scheme, a scheme with elliptic curve cryptosystem basedon logical cluster grouping structure is proposed. Ordinary nodes in a group share a group privatekey and group public key, as a member of every group, the cluster node share the groupcommunication keys, this method does not change the existing network architecture and will onlybe applied in key management stage. The NS2simulation results show that, compared to thetraditional one-on-one key exchange scheme, this scheme gets a more effective energyconsumption, while the security is guaranteed. For authentication scheme, the shortcomings of the existing literature on the original scheme hasbeen improved, more importantly, a scheme of mobile nodes’pre-certification and re-certification isproposed. In this scheme, when a authenticated node has been moved, the authenticated informationwill be fully utilized without complex network authentication. The simulation results show that thepre-certification and re-certification scheme greatly reducing the consumption of the entire networkcommunication, thereby reducing the energy consumption of the entire network and extending thelife cycle of network.
