Research And Realization Of Miners Wireless Location System Based On ZigBee

In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, new technologies have been applied in mining industry constantly. Mining is forward the road that unmanned and intelligent. However, until now the traditional mining methods can’t be completely replaced, the safety of mine workers underground is still threatened by various incidents.In normal times, how to monitor the various security issues effectively and improve the safety of underground work, and after the disaster, how to locate affected staff quickly and efficiently in order to improve the efficiency of disaster relief and rescue. These are worth researching. The management model of establishing disaster prevention, accident assistance is an effective means to solve frequent accidents of mining enterprises. The key to implement of these instruments is to establish electronic information based intelligent information system platform.This paper analyzes the development of miners management system at home and abroad, demonstrates the feasibility of using ZigBee technology in underground communications, built a ZigBee-based wireless sensor networks, and designed a new type of miners wireless location system based on ZigBee. This system locates the mobile nodes employ by using step by step method, combined with Kalman filter algorithm. This method improved the position accuracy without any addition hardware. Underground staff are intensive, if more nodes communicate at the same time, it can causes conflicts. So in order to avoid this problem, this article uses group agreement. The system uses the wireless beacon to locate and identify underground staff who carried locating node in real-time. On one hand, this system realizes the attendance management of miners. On the other hand, it also provides a basis for inquires the distribution of underground staff. Thus, the efficient and safe management operation of the miners is achieved.
