The sensor technology has become an important part of the modern world and one of the commanding heights of contention in high-tech development. In foreign countries,most of the developed countries has token sensor technology as their key to develop their modern high-tech.The sensor technology together with communication technology and computer technology are called three pillar industry of the IT,they are"senses","nervous" and "brain" of intelligent system.Fiber Bragg grating sensor made use of it because its excess loss is small,small size,wide reflection bandwidth and couple with optical fiber, easy to couple with other optical devices and will not affected by the electromagnetic environment.FBG sensor has been widely used in large civilengineering, smart materials,electrical engineering,petroleum engineering and chemical fields.Distributed grating sensing can achieve the purpose of measuring multiple points at the same time, and demodulation technology is the key and difficulty points of the distributed Bragg grating sensing.This paper introduced the theory and development of fiber grating sensor,and made a broad overview for the FBG demodulation technology.Developed an ARM embedded system on the Android operating system, which controls the OCM wavelength detector. Using the ARM embedded system to control the Digital to analog conversion DAC7512, and found a new way to drive the piezoelectric ceramic as a line.Finally,designed a distributed Bragg grating sensor system for the perpose of setting up more grating on the same fiber by using the spectral reconstruction method and particle swarm algorithm for the demodulation of the sensor system.
