IMS Single Domain Double Manufacturers Network Construction And Testing

Various equipment manufacturers are doing equipment specifications at current initialphase of IMS network. According to network maintenance experience, the equipment use ofdifferent manufacturers can improve the network security and enhance the emergentredundant ability; therefore it should be considered for the network construction how differentequipment manufacturers can apply to the same IMS domain in order to provide a referencedirection for future network construction. This thesis studies to select two manufacturers ofnetwork equipment Huawei and Ericsson to build the test. According to the standardspecifications of IMS network developed, relevant manufacturers establish their own corenetwork, provide standard public AS equipment, and independently construct not standardizednetwork equipments at the same time. Without the appropriate standard the networks ofdifferent manufacturers are relatively closed systems eventhough they are accessed publicly.3GPP standards of IMS are being continuously improved, but the practical application is veryfew, so the early test is very important and meaningful. After the completion of construction,it does the tests according to relevant business, verifies the feasibility analysis of IMS of dualmanufacturers of single domain, which will provide beneficial reference for the futurenetwork construction. Through this research it can be seen that equipments of differentmanufacturers coexist in network construction, and the application of equipments of differentmanufactures in the same single domain has more efficient and more value for redundantbackup than that of the single manufacturer in single domain. After the networks are whole IP,the bearing capacity of core network grows rapidly because the problems caused byequipment load have been reduced greatly. Although the communication faults caused bysingle equipment and single network still exit, the use of different manufacturers forconstructing the core network will provide the emergent response capability.
