With the improvement of people’s safety consciousness, the gas-detection industrygets a rapid growth in these years. During development of this new industry, how toanalyze and deal with data from gas-sensor become cores of technical cumulation andinnovation. However, as for so many kinds, complex parameters and mass data ofgas-sensor, it is more and more difficult to inquire and manage these data with manualmethods and it is also difficult to keep the consistency, validity and veracity of sensordata. It is not convenient to store and manage mass data, and enterprises in this field areall anguished for data inquiry, technical intercommunication and statistical analysis.In this thesis, according to those problems mentioned above, and with enterprisedemands investigation and author’s experience, Gas-sensor Information ManagementSystem is designed by visual programming software and database processing. Withscientific, efficient and accurate data analysis and management, as well as collection ofbasic data, this system helps enterprises to accumulate technical experience, reduceresource consumption and cost, and take communications on technology.Firstly, in this thesis, key technologies and basic tools, which are necessary forGas-sensor Information Management System, are analyzed and introduced, and we alsoanalyzed currently-used database system and visual programming softwares.Secondly, the demands of gas-detection industry were investigated and analyzed.Morever, customer demands and data structure were made clearly according to traits ofthis information system.Then, Gas-sensor Information Management System was designed according touser’s demands. Depending on the data, database, system structure as well as functionalmodules, detailed design and implementation was carried out, and we finally got apracticable Gas-sensor Information Management System.Lastly, systemly tests for all modules showed the effectiveness of the system,system defects were summarized, and improvements for the system were pointed out.forfurther research.
