Design And Development Of The Real Time News Publishing System Based On J2EE Of Suining Vocational And Technical School

Internet has become one of the most important methods in informationdissemination and it covers all over the world. Everyone could search any informationimmediately which he is interested in while the tranditional media is changing intoInternet way because of the tranditional media’s drawbacks like time cost,dissemination range and publishing cost. The small-scale institution could also useInternet to publish news for the advantages like low-cost, high-effectiveness and easydissemination whose basic support is real time news publishing system. Real time newspublishing system is wildly used for that the user could search in the webpageautomatically and it could renew the news in real time, in the mean while, the user coulduse the key words to search the information in the system.This project follows development process in software engineering, is anasysised,designed and developmented by using object-oriented method. This real time publishingsystem is made of five parts including technology selection, requirements analysis, anddesign in detail, coding and testing. This system could be used as the window to theoutside and publish information tunnel for Suining vocational and technical school. It isalso resipobsible for supporting the students, teachers and others to get the news of theschool better. It could make the students and teachers to care the school better, love theschool better, contruct the school better. Above all, this real time news publishingsystem could be an important part of the school’s information construction and it is thereason why this topic is choosed as the master thesis.The system should include news front webpage, news searching engine, links,comments, visits statistics, category lists, sections management, news management, usermanagement, comments management and etc. Considering scalability, stability andavailability of the system, this system choose J2EE to build the framework, is developedin Java, Tomcat as web server, MySQL as database server and Windows server2003asserver’s operation system. During the development process, UML is used to design andmodeling. Netbeans is used to do the programming part. Dreamweaver is used to designthe webpage while PhotoShop is used to design the pictures. Also object-oriented method is used to help ansysis and design in timing diagram, collaboration diagram,class diagram, system deployment diagram, component diagram and etc.Generally speaking, this project is mainly about developing a reliable, useful realtime publish news system in a standardized process based on the actually situation ofSuining vocational and technical school, using software engineering technology,depending on a few developmenting tools and support softwares.
