Today, people communicate with each other by telephone and e-mail in mostdomestic and foreign enterprises. However, these two methods will inevitably becomepowerless on intuitive visualization of specific information. Some companies use instantmessaging software such as QQ, MSN, etc. But the software only for personalcommunications is used to provide public services. Because research and developmentcontents of personnel exchanges within group companies and their affiliates areconfidential in the open environment of network, there exist different degrees ofsecurity problems. This thesis takes application software design and test of theTechnology Research and Development Center of China Silian Instrument Group as thegoal, to solve the interactive coordination problems among its various research anddevelopment departments and researchers in system development process, so as toimprove research and development efficiency and to protect intellectual property rights.As a kind of auxiliary means of research and development, it can provide powerfulsupport for personnel immediate communication to raise efficiency and quality ofsoftware research and development of the enterprise and at the same time to ensure thesecurity of mutual information as well.The thesis serves for the Technical Research and Development Center of ChinaSilian Instrument Group. There are5departments,9institutes and more than432technical staff in the center. Due to a wide range of product development, research anddevelopment personnel take the project team as a unit in different departments orinstitutes. So communication and resources sharing is urgently needed. The purpose ofthe thesis is to design and test the software for the exchanges of papers, documents,picture information through the enterprise LAN to facilitate collaborativecommunication and to intensify management to staff members, including the company’spunching card to work, leave requests, leave approval, attendance statistics and otherfunctions. The company’s managers can know at the first time the attendance ofemployees and working situation. C/S structure model is used in this system..NET is taken as an applicationdevelopment tool. SQL Server2000can be used as a database tool. And XMPPagreement is for communication. Main function modules of the company’s server endinclude nine parts such as staff management, department management, on-linepersonnel statistics, file upload and download, employee attendance statistics,etc. Mainfunction modules of the company’s client end are to view online personnel, to sendinstant messages, group sending between departments, sending personal documents, etc.The modules can cover nearly all the communication areas of research and developmentstaff members of the company. Testing result indicates that this system can meet theneeds of users and that high efficiency can be improved in terms of human management.The aim of this topic design can be achieved.
