With fast development of information and Internet technology, all trades andprofessions have deployed their own advanced network infrastructure, and strengthenenterprise information construction, for keeping advantages in fierce marketcompetition. On the other hand, along with the ongoing informatization, more and moreenterprises focus the recovery ability from failures, as their network infrastructuresuffered serious breakdowns. Since enterprises would face enormous economic lossonce they cannot rescue failures in time. Hence, this thesis researches and develops anAjax-based enterprise network failure online repair system for avoiding suchunfavorable conditions, which has merits of fast failure response speed, easy andconvenient operations, friendly interface etc. By deploying such system, enterprises cansolve all kinds of gusty network failures timely and effectively, and avoid inducedunexpected loss.The thesis firstly presents the background, purpose and significance for researchingonline repair system of enterprise network failures, as well as research status at homeand abroad. Then the key technologies required for designing the system are discussedin depth, including Struts2, Ajax and DWR framework. After introducingcomprehensive requirements analysis of the online failure repair system, the generalfunction design is given and the implementing architecture is presented. In which, themain function modules of system are divided, as Web interface of customer, Webinterface of monitor, Web interface of maintenance engineer, Web interface ofenterprise manager, Web interface of system administrator. Then, the detailed design ofeach modules are stated, using use-case diagram, sequence diagram etc. Besides, thesupported database is well analyzed and designed with E-R diagram. After that, themain modules of system are implemented with struts2, Ajax, DWR etc. technologies onEclipse platform and Microsoft SQL Server2005database, including modules of onlinerepairing, repair report managing, aided diagnosing, task assigning, notificationmessage managing, integrated querying for roles of repair customers, monitors, andmaintenance engineers. Finally, comprehensive system tests are done with white-box testing, black-box testing etc. tools. The testing results show that, both functions andperformance of system meet the design objectives, and will satisfy the needs of all rolesproperly.
