China is rich of coal resources. For a long time, the total energy consumption inChina has been dominated by coal. For a long time,coal is mainly used for powergeneration, metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials and other fields. Coalintelligent monitoring system can significantly improve safety of coal mine productionconditions, and safeguard the sustained, stable and healthy development of China’s coalindustry. Coal intelligent detecting system is a complex system, which needs to detect alot of analog. The analog include the environments such as concentration of gas,temperature, negative pressure, dust, smoke, and the contents of coal,like water, ash,sulfur, carbon and other ingredients. Changes of parameters on the various aspects ofthe monitoring system help the grasp of underground production and safety accuratelyand comprehensively.With the development of sensor technology, electronic technology and theprinciple of communication technology, as well as coal intelligent monitoring systemspecification and design requirements, have designed a low-cost and high-performancecoal intelligent monitoring system for the exceptional work environment of coal mine.The system uses a32-bit ARM LPC1768microprocessor as the control center,whose computing speed and control function has get stronger and stronger nowdays.Building the hardware architecture of the system based on system functionalrequirements, have designed each sub-function modules and considered devicesselection, including designs of system power supply, data acquisition, human-computerinteraction and communication interface. Transfering data by SIM900B GPRScommunication module, have built a gateway node based on embedded μCOS-IItechnology. SQL server2003database management technology and Windowsserver2003server management software are good for host system to realize remotemanagement operation process of the coal, with real-time, easy to operate. The systemhas good interactive interface, easily queried and browsed with the data. You can alsoadjust the parameters through the key combination. Errors and the accuracy of the datacould be controlled by the program. Finally, a number of measures are also designed to improve the reliability of the system, including numerical filtering technology,hardware and software anti-jamming technology.With research and design of the subject on the basis of compliance with the relevantnational standards and technical requirements, the article have realized the basicfunctional requirements of the coal intelligent monitoring and processed data accuracyand error detection.
