For the traditional electrical signal sensor can not meet the requirements of coal mineenterprise power cable temperature detection, based on the traits of fiber sensing and distributedoptical fiber temperature sensor which can multipoint measure with large range. In this paper,takeing distributed optical fiber temperature sensor as core, designing of the power cabletemperature detection system. This system can take temperature measurement of the optical fiber,not only do high-temperature points for accurate positioning, but also be able to prevent the fireincident in the first place,which is of great research value.Firstly, this paper studies the temperature measurement principle of distributed fiber optictemperature sensor. According to the anti-Stokes Raman scattering in the relationship betweenlight and temperature, determined using Stokes scattered light regulation of anti-Stokes lightscattering method to measure the temperature of the fiber, quantitatively analyze on thespontaneous Raman scattering and the stimulated Raman scattering, determine the Ramanthreshold,inhabite stimulated Raman scattering.Then, according to the coal power cable actual situation of the temperature detection,using optical time domain reflection technology to determine the measure relationship beturntemperature and distance.Overall design of distributed optical fiber temperature measurementsystem, describing the functional demand and hardware design of different parts of the system.In the detection of signal processing using wavelet denoising algorithm to denoising thetemperature signal. According to the shortcomings of wavelet algorithm,using wavelet packetalgorithm for the temperature signal decomposition and reconstruction of high frequency andlow frequency, thereby achieving detection signal feature extraction along the optical fiber.Finally,analysis the characteristics of virtual instrument technology, design the detectionsoftware system based on virtual instrument technology, introduce the function of each module,and give the flow chart of the system, using LABVIEW software to design the temperaturedetection system.
