A Kind Of Improved CELP Algorithm

With the rapid development of modern mobile communication, the bandwidthutilization and speech quality have been the crucial problems. The valid approach tosolve this problem is low rate, low cost and high quality speech codec.Syncretize method of coding based upon CELP (Code Excited Linear Prediction)is extensive researched in the thesis. The CELP algorithm includes many importantmodule such as LP (Linear Predictive) analysis, adaptive codebook, random codebookand gain quantization of code etc. On the base of the FS1016algorithm,I made thefollowing several aspects of the processing.First of all, Improved algorithm of pitch detection.Second, the training incentive random code book.Third, the construction of adaptive code book.Fourth，Increasing speech denoising to improve the decoder cumbersome postfilter.Finally, through the senior language programming, simulation analysis is carriedout and the simulation results are given, by comparing the synthesized speech and theoriginal speech waveform, spectrogram, showing that the new algorithm performance.
