With the development of computer and network technology, metro AFC (Automatic Fare Collection) system has been widely used in urban rail construction. Operation management system is a subsystem of AFC, and an information management system with automatic management as major, manual management as auxiliary in order to guarantee service quality and enhance management efficiency is presented according to the requirement of manual operational management’s difficulties caused by huge metro traffic. Subway’s operation efficiency is improved and data exchange and ticket management of AFC system are supported by operation management system.System requirements are analyzed, and operation management, mode management, authority management, parameter management and clock management as followed are designed and implemented in what the author’s work:In the module of operation management, functions of operational starting, ending and operational day’s switching are designed and implemented to ensure normal operation; Functions of login, changing password and forcing login out, locking/unlocking operator, in the module of permission management, are designed and implemented. In addition, operators’ permission information of old line in the interchange are imported in the new line’s format by using technology of database; setting and informing mode of the mode management’s module are designed and implemented for ensuring system on the synergy operation. Besides, functions of setting emergency mode and generating mode history are finished by using network communication; functions of parameters’publishing, switching, synchronizing and inquiring are designed and implemented; At last, the function of synchronizing clock with world time clock is completed by using calibration principle of NTP (Network Time Protocol).Now alignment testing of system is accomplished, and is going to be in a test run after field environment deploy, and important reference in future development and optimization of the system are provided by the paper.
