Rice is the main food crops. Rice production and management of the research has important theoretical and practical significance. Virtual Rice Research, through computer simulation of rice growth and development status, the establishment of the morphological structure and physiological and ecological processes of a combination of3D visualization of virtual rice model for agricultural research, quantitative research in rice production, yield prediction analysis, the virtual experiment provide strong support, but also contribute to the development of Digital Agriculture.Construction and application of the Rice model is one of the basic work of the virtual rice research. Modeling of rice for the rice growing process monitoring, organ shape parameter measurements, the visualization of virtual rice to lay a solid foundation.Rice plants, combined with the theories and methods of the field of computer vision, image starting from the perspective of the rice plants, the3D voxel model for reconstruction of rice plants and the grid model.This article uses the OpenCV calibration of the camera’s internal control, and use a calibrated multi-angle shot on rice plant. The captured image segmentation, foreground and background the binarization series of digital image processing, get the multi-view silhouette map of the rice plants. Then use the voxelization of three-dimensional reconstruction method to construct the visual shell of the rice plants, rice plants of the three-dimensional voxel model. Finally, the article uses the Marching Cubes method, surface reconstruction of the voxel model of the rice plants, the final triangular mesh model of the rice plant.
