Research On Policy-based Integrated Satellite Information Network Management

How to efficiently manage integrated satellite information network is very significant because of its huge scale, complex structure and frequently changed topology. Therefore, this paper launches the research of policy-based integrated satellite information network management, including the research of policy-based management architecture, policy description and policy conflict detection and resolution of integrated satellite information network.Firstly, the architecture of policy-based integrated satellite information network management is established. Through the analysis of the integrated satellite information network’s characteristics and management architecture, this paper establishes the policy-based network management architecture, this architecture includes global policy server, domain policy server and local policy server, and each policy server contains PDP and PR, this dynamic layered structure can efficiently reduce the time-delay of the policy request.Secondly, a policy description suitable for the integrated satellite information network is proposed. This paper develops a XML-based high-level policy description refer to PCIM (Policy Core Information Model), while low-level policy uses rules’description of Drools to describe. This paper uses Drools engine to achieve policy matching which improves the efficiency of the policy-based management system.Again, on the basis of analyzing the policy conflict type in the integrated satellite information network, this paper puts forward a policy conflict detection and resolution method suitable for the integrated satellite information network. This paper verifies the validation of the rule’s conditions and actions when editing the rule, and uses policy detection method based on multi-dimension space to detect conflict policy before adding a policy and through adding priority level tag to solve the policy conflict produced in policy performance.Finally, this paper establishes a distributed simulation environment based on STKX and develops a policy management tool to simulate and verify the validation of the policy description and policy conflict detection method, and simulate the function of policy-based integrated satellite information network management.
