This subject is based on an ultra-wideband monopulse tracking radar developed in our institute, which is used to verify the interference effectiveness of the electronic jammer on radars.The radar is characterized by wide operating frequency band and big dynamic range. The key of the problem is to develop a receiver with an ultra-wideband front end and big dynamic receiving performance.The basic function and technical requirements of a monopulse radar receiver are addressed, and the concept and purpose of the ultra-wideband receiver is introduced as well as the technical difficulties for implementing ultra-wideband front end and large dynamic-range receiver are analyzed. The design plan for the receiver in this project is demonstrated; the circuit composition of each part of the receiver is introduced, and the design for some function circuits are described in detail. To the technical characteristics of the receiver in the project, the test plan for the main technical specifications of the receiver is designed and its practical tested results are given.The receiver is currently delivered to the user with the radar system. After a period of inspection in practice, the operation of the receiver is proved stably and realiably. Both the overall system department and the user give the receiver high evaluation.
