Heart disease and cardiovascular disease have become the number one threat to the health of human body. Heart disease and cardiovascular disease are caused by various heart and blood vessel diseases in general. With the deepening research of the heart and cardiovascular disease by the medical workers, the human has got greatly breakthrough in this area. Some advanced medical equipments already have a wide range of clinical applications, such as cardiogram monitor, multi-detector non-invasive cardiac function instrument, sphygmometer and so on. But such devices generally have expensive, bulky, lead complex, requiring professionals to operate, so they are hardly to enter family health care field. The requirements of home health care equipments are cheap, portable, easy to use and less precision relative to professional equipments. With the popularization of personal computers, a PC-based composite noninvasive testing sensor for cardiogram and pulse wave for real-time monitoring of the family is the main work of this paper. According to current medical theories and clinical trials, ECG, arterial pulse and heart sound are the most easyly to collect and valuable clinical biological signals. The main difficulty of this issue is that how to design an intergration sensor which can detect ECG, arterial pulse and heart sound at a time.This paper developed an instrument of small size, light weight, low cost, portable and data transmission based USB interface with a composite noninvasive testing sensor for cardiogram and pulse wave both in software and hardware design in detail. This paper firstly introduces the non-invasive detection of complex heart vessel sensor front-end design.Figure out the principle of bio-signal acquisition method according to a variety of medical information. And then, we successfully get the weak bioelectrical signals from the complex and larger external environment noise and high common-mode voltage. Secondly, we complete the hardware circuit design and software debugging of the MCU and sensor data communications front-end system. Since then design data acquisition and communication hardware based on the USB interface. At last we complete the MFC software program.The sensor can detect the body’s ECG, heart sounds and arterial pulse signa at the same time. The data transmit over USB interface and the real-time graph can be displayde on computer. Heart rate can directly display too. Finally, we did a summary of the research work and made some prospects of this domain.
