With the continuous development of automobile industry, the quality of the tire put forward much higher requirements. Extruder is the major equipment in tire production line. There are many affect factors in the extrusion process, extruder melt temperature is most important it’s control quality could affect the quality of extrusion product directly. The effect of temperature control has become the key decision in product quality. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of tire, it is necessary to research the temperature control of the extruder.The thesis takes extrusion production line in Tire Corporation as the background, and study the temperature control system of extruder in depth. Based on analyzing of the extrusion process, combining with the state changes of the rubber in charging barrel during the extrusion process, temperature object itself has a nonlinear and delay features. At the same time, the factors that influence the temperature during the rubber mixing are uncertain, such as batch composition, initial temperature, decalescence within rubber, and the friction between rubber and extruder cylinder. Therefore, the system can not be described with precise math equation. To deal with the large fluctuation in the extrusion process under conventional PID control system, causing the problem as tire surface out of fatness, deformation, even earlier vulcanize. This paper joins the fuzzy control onto the traditional PID control system to solve the problem of temperature object without precise model. But the control effect is not precise enough when the error is small, so join the variable domain thinking to constitute a variable domain fuzzy adaptive PID controller, and control the extruder in section.Finally, the author uses the MATLAB to simulate the control system, and analyze the tracking property of variable universe adaptive fuzzy PID control system. A comparison between the temperature control system designed in this paper and traditional PID control system is done. The simulation results indicate that the control system in this paper can achieve better control effect.
