In order to solve the problem of wireless transmission of information in the multi-agent robot system cooperative control, we in this paper design ZigBee-based wireless communication system, build the soft and hardware platform which makes moving multi-agent robots exchange information. Our work is as follows:(1)The demands of communication are analyzed, and a wireless network communication program of one robot system is designed.(2)The network of ZigBee technology is studied multi-angle; four different networking methods are designed and achieved.(3)The ZigBee protocol stack is discussed. The platform at the application layer is developed to meet the demands for communication.(4)A hardware platform on a wireless communication is built. The work of design, implementation, debugging and analysis are done.(5)For the problems happened in communication, the reasons are analyzed, and several improved methods are given.In summary, we in this paper design a ZigBee wireless communication module and the connected circuit. The wireless communication system and communication network are achieved. The real-time sending and receiving of information during the robots’ movement is realized. A multi-agent robot wireless communication hardware platform is built.
