Power Line Communication (PLC) is a system based on the electricity transmission network that realizes electrical communication between nodes within one network and another. However, a variety of security authentication problems are emerged due to a special carrier of the PLC transmission system and relatively open media environment, so it is significant to design a safe, efficient and low-cost PLC security protocol. In this paper, firstly, the composition and working principle of the PLC system are summarized, and then, analysis and study of the RSNA protocol P1901are did. To solve DoS bugs of the RSN IE validation, three solutions are given, authenticating RSN IE unstrictly, management frame confirming and authenticating RSN IE early. These above schemes can effectively avoid Dos attacking, and the first method is the most desirable way. For4-Way Handshake of the DoS attack, the thesis advances two solutions, based on message1for identity authentication and based on temporary random queue discarded. The first method is most safe if AS is not attacked, the second method although cannot eliminate fundamentally the DoS attack. At the end of the thesis, a more reasonable and security solution is proposed, which is used for recovery in the case of the failure of the protocol. According to the failure of the protocol in different stages, diffenent recovery points could be chosen in order to reduce the cost of the resources that brought by the DoS attacks.
