OFDM technology is usually applied to high speed data transmission under multi-path fading and Doppler frequency shifts. It can resist frequency slective fading and have high frequency efficiency.Owing to the system is power restricted, it must adopt coherent demodulation. Channel estimation is one of the most important techniques in the coherent demodulation. The system can get a better performance through the channel estimation.First of all, this thesis gives some analysis and research on the basic parameter of the application channel, and gives a model of the channel under the need of the project.Secondly, this thesis introduces several classical algorithms of the OFDM channel estimaiton theory. After that, we do some research on the algorithms under the application channel.Thirdly, We present an improved algorithm method based on DFT interpolation algorithms through the noise limiter under the application channel. The performance of the improved algorithms gets2dB gain under multi-path fading channel.At last, a complete proposal is designed, after that we elaborate principle of the baseband processing of this system in detail, and the hardware circuits of the proposal are performed.
