Applications in embedded systems is becoming increasingly widespread, due to technical innovation and user demand continues to grow, the emergence of new functions and new applications are added into the system. This makes the embedded system is necessary to speed up development and shorten time to market, but also to ensure that the embedded system’s stability, reliability and performance. Therefore, an efficient and convenient debugger in the system development process is particularly important.This paper studies the development of embedded system debugging technology status, and debugging tools for debugging technology for a wide range of analysis and comparison between the various debugging techniques advantages and disadvantages. Secondly, the introduction of existing support system-aware debugging of embedded software development environment, analyzes the use of debugging techniques, the task-aware debugging techniques for a more in-depth study.Finally, for the lack of the existing Tianhui software development environment, proposed to achieve a task-aware debugging support for embedded software development environment solution. Context of the specific operating system for embedded real-time μC/OS-Ⅱ and the target development platform OMAP L137, to the ROM monitor debugging embedded systems technology as the basis for task-aware debugger, for task-aware debugger for a specific design, implementation and testing, and enhance the existing capabilities of embedded software development environment.
