With the rapid development of electric information technology, embedded systems have become more and more popular in kinds of fields. However the complexity and dimension of software in embedded system is increasing day by day, thus quick-development and effective debug become more important in process of development. How to improve embedded software with quality and development efficiency become the pressing problems in embedded software application. In China, embedded system tools currently are still in the blank areas, especially in large-scale high-end application development depends directly on embedded fields abroad which have been giant monopoly. So design IDE with Independent property rights will overcome foreign companies in a monopoly position, it also be significance to domestic developments in the field of embedded.This paper first analyses the advantages and disadvantages for debug technology used in embedded system. Then according to high-end embedded applications development needs, we put forward a software debugger acting way to develop the multi-embedded cross-debugger "ReDB". Next, this paper is mainly on the three parts of the design and development with the multi-embedded cross-debugger "ReDB". Finally, summarizes the whole thesis, present its achievements in promoting the products of the situation, prospect the next e direction of development.As the designer of the Embedded Multi Debugger "ReDB" system, I've finished the design of the system debugger, task debugger, mode switch, multi-target debugger. I implemented the key technology in the system - multi-debugger technology.The "ReDB" system has extensive application value and marketing foreground. It also has strategic signality in embedded develop and debug tools with dependent property rights.
