On Data Protection In Banking Information System

Banking information system is composed of computer systems and networkequipments. It can link users, also can transmit, interact and share information amongthe banks through internet and intranet. The data leakage may be happened in thisprocess. So the protection of data is one the key problems for banks during the businesstransactions and routine office works.Firstly, analyzing the open characteristic of banking information system and allpossible causes for data leakage, this thesis summarizes the methods and steps to protectagainst data leakage. Therefore, they can reduce the probability of risk occurred inbanking information system.Secondly, the importance of the risk assessment of banking information system ispresented. The framework and the process of risk evaluation are also proposed, it is thenecessary to manage risk for banks. All of these works are a major part of bank’s routinemanagements.Thirdly, a privilege-controlled algorithm based on TBDAC (Trust based DynamicAccess Control) is proposed based on the TBAC (Trust based Access control) and theRBAC (Role based Access control) model. It improves the security of the bank’sdatabase and realizes the real-time access control.Finally, view and fuzzy and filtering technologies are introduced in banks’ dataprotection field. The examples show that it is very effective to protect privacy of thebank’s data by using these technologies.
