Multi-homing is a method used to increase stability and reliab lity of IP network.It canincrease the throughput of the network,and can achieve load balancing.Multi-homingtechnologies usually can play an important role in variable and unreliable network.Withthe emergence of new technologies,the support of features o f muli-homing becomesbetter,so the popularity of multi-homing technologies have been greatly improved.Forexample,IPv6provide more support than IPv4in protocol aspects.The frequency ofusing computer increase rapidly in modern mobile environment,multi-homingtechnologies can also help to solve the handover problems of computers roamingbetween different type of networks.With the expansion of network scale,the gradually application of IPv6technologiesand the demand for mobile office users,mobile comp uters in IPv6network is likely toaccount for a large part.The main task of mobile IPv6protocol is managing thesemobile computers.NEMO protocol,based on mobile IPv6,ensures the connectivity ofmobile node(MN) and the Internet will not be interrupted whe n mobile router(MR) ofmobile network changes the Internet accesss point.As MR is responsible for thecommunication of entire subnet in NEMO,once MR stop working due to externalreasons,the impact is enormous.So this article applies NEMO to multi-homingtechnolgy,describe various configurations of NEMO multi-homing technologies indetails,and make following studies in the condition of multiple MRs in NEMO:In a multi-homed subnet,when a MN moves to the internal of a subnet,in will beinvolved in the problem of which MR to select.By modifying the NEMO protocol andnode configuration,changing the operation of MN,realize the MN choose scheme andverify it through simulation.MR with a high priority may access more MNs,due to the limitation of MR’sbandwidth,the delay of MN will be influenced.This article designs a scheme in whichMR dynamically adjust its priority according to the numbers of accessing MN.MR willlower its priority when there are many MNs,so new arrived MN will access to therelatively free MR. By modifing the process procedure of nodes,increasing theinformations of MN records,achieves the dynamic allocation of traffic and loadbalancing.The feasibilty of the program is verified by analyzing the simulation results.
