The game is the ninth art. In November18th,2003e-sports becomes official, and the State Sports General Administration has formally approved the e-sports as the official launch of the99sports. The online game market is increased year by year, in2009, China online game market scale has reached27.06billion Yuan, with an year-on-year growth of30.2%, In2013the entire industry revenue is expected to be58.5billion Yuan with annual growth rate of20%.And in high speed growth, the security has been a major barrier to developers, such as password leakage hacking, outside hang damage and the source code leaking things emerge in endlessly. In the current MMO (massively multiplayer online) game, there are two main security we need to confront, the first one is the security of player’s information, how to protect players’information, to prevent hacking, to ensure that the player’s property interests not to be malicious violated; and the other one is the game itself and its safety of operation and communication. Outside hang flush is the top killer of MMO games, not only will affect the game balance, shorten the game life, and even even cause the player to leave, how to ban players use illegal plug to see interests. In regard to the game code and the version security, also need to have some way to prevent the leakage of source code and source version. The purpose of my topic selection is to find a workable, effective, and complete security solution for the security problems faced by the online game, and to improve the security of our developing games based on this.This paper firstly introduces the development and prospects of massively multiplayer online game, and then describes the content and significance of this research, analyzes the mathematical principles and implementation mechanism of the common DES, RSA, AES cryptography algorithm. It also introduces the SHA, HASH hashing algorithm and SRP agreement, digital watermarking technology, and then analyzes the security issues need to be faced in the massively multiplayer online game development, as well as proposed solutions, and most of them are based on cryptography solutions, such as network transmission layer encryption, login SRP agreement, etc, and some is specific to the online security mechanism, such as verifying system.Hope this paper can be used as a complete package of safety aspects of the game industry.
