Design And Implementation Of The Web Access System In Home Gateway Based On Embedded Linux

Coincident with the rapid development of social economy and computer sciencetechnology, we have witnessed an extensive application of embeded system.Simultaneously, the requirement for networking and informatization boost as a result ofsuch trend, an increasing number of embedded equipment is now connected to the internetto facilitate users’ remote control. In today’s world, there are numerous long-distanceprotocols, to name a few, SNMP, TR069, HTTP, among which HTTP is the emblematicone characterized by its user-friendly interface.Nevertheless, such method inevitablyraises the issue for security. At the same time, since there are so many equipmentstreaming into the internet, it is foreseeable that in the near future, the internet will run outof IPv4addresses, consequently, the transition from IPv4to IPv6is bound to happen.Developing the Home gateway that provides support for IPv6address access and SSLprotocol is of great practical merit. Owing to the complexity of cross-compelling, it isnecessary to choose the language that does not demand developer’s effort to compile thecode manually, henceforth, Web access system has to provide the CGI parsing engine forthe script of such language.Based on the in-depth study on HTTP and SSL protocol, as well as the application ofIPv6in HTTP, the paper comes up with the Web system that meets the need for securityand practicability. Corresponding to the complexity of cross-compiling process, Websystem includes the CGI parsing engine for Shell script.In the first place, it discusses the problems to be addressed in the Web systemimplementation and its solution. In the second place, based on the structured analysis, itanalyzes the requirement for the system to confirm the functions it should implement. Afterthat, it designs the system, dividing it into several submodules, and makes detailed designfor each of these modules. Finally, the implementation part provides the solution for criticaltechniques in this project and specifies the implementation of each module in the project.
