At the same time as the medical information is becoming more and also put forward higher requirements for security, in the long-distance medical monitoring system, embedded devices and hospital data centers to ensure the communication security has become a key point of patient data security. SSL on an effective solution to this problem.This article first introduces the basic theory of information security technology, mainly related to the encryption method, message validation, authentication of the message digest algorithms and digital signatures the principles and methods. With the above, following the analysis of the basis of the principles and mechanisms of SSL, which provides a number of cryptographic techniques for user authentication, data encryption, transmission, data integrity verification, data signing, and other functions, is the user's data security, integrity in the Internet transmission. Respectively, using the open source project OpenSSL, MatrixSSL as computer terminals and embedded-end SSL implementations to realize a dynamic link library and the SSL protocol with X.509 digital certificates issued by the CA system functions, and SSL protocols and by Dynamic Link Library CA system issued X.509 digital certificates used in long-distance medical care system, terminals and data center communications, the Internet-based SSL protocol to achieve the security of medical data transmission and communication of both authentication.The system mainly uses data encryption; identity authentication technology to ensure data security, integrity and data transfer pairs put the legitimacy of the identity verification and non-repudiation.
