Virtual reality technology is the advanced subjects in the current computer andinformation sciences. It combines computer image processing, computer psychology,artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction technology, sensor technology,network and other information science. This thesis focuses on the virtual reality technologyin the sensor technology research, the scene direction and orientation were identified by useof HMC5883L and ADXL345and the data is sent to the virtual scene host through Ethernet.The thesis can provide a train of thought for design of the hardware circuit, and thecorresponding circuit modules are separated in the other hand. Eventually, the virtual realitysystem hardware measurement circuit has been successfully achieved.This thesis also introduced the use of FPGA to drive the data acquisition chip method,and describes the whole software designing process about using Ethernet control chipLAN8700to collect data in the form of UDP packet and sending it to the host computer. Dueto some errors in the data in the case of different attitude, magnetic and gravity acceleration,I put forward a detailed angle correction method and the compensation algorithm, andfine-tune the data through the FPGA.After the amendment of data processing, testing experimental results show that thepositioning accuracy of positioning hardware system has been able to stabilize and controlin about1degree, which has achieved the goal to locate their attitudeand orientation in the virtual scene.
