GPRS is a new kind of mobile packet data service, which established on the basis ofthe second generation mobile communication network GSM. Because of the advantages ofreal-time online, high-speed transmission and charged by the flow, the GPRS is welcomedby mobile users, and widely used in real time monitoring system. Wireless channelresources tension and poor quality of data transmission is the main aspects of influence thequality of the GPRS network service. So how to use the existing channel resourceseffectively and improve the quality of data transmission has become the focus of theGPRS service quality today.Firstly, after analyzed the channel allocation process in the GPRS subsystem, and thecurrent allocation algorithms, a new channel allocation algorithm which limit the privilegeof data packet division channel is proposed. The algorithm allows voice and data packetservice divide channel when there is no idle channel in system, reducing the blocking rateof service. And limit the privilege of different priority data packet divide the channel,guaranteeing the quality of service of the high-priority packet.Secondly, a new twice ant colony algorithm based on simulated annealing wasproposed which based on analyzing the way of GPRS backbone data transmission and theQoS routing model. The algorithm uses simulated annealing to avoid fall into localoptimum and uses the second ant algorithm to optimize the path, and accelerate the speedof finding the optimal path.Finally, the improved channel allocation algorithm is simulated in the environmentwhich is built by C++, and improved routing algorithm is simulated in the environmentwhich is built by matlab.
