Research On Realistic Facial Processing Technology In Craniofacial Restoration

Craniofacial Restoration is realized through the speculation of the original craniofacialstate based on the knowledge of human scull features and craniofacial statistics. Theapplication of computer technologies in craniofacial restoration can not only minimize errorsof the subjective type, shorten the restoration time but also make the completed craniofacialstate according to its original features.Realistic facial processing, which is developed under varied technologies from thesubjects of computer graphics, statistics, anthropology, psychology and so forth, is one ofthe hot research topic in the field of modern computer graphics．The thesis explores thepersonalized information about the age, skin color, expression generating etc. of realisticfacial processing and in the mean time realizes realistic facial processing of the facialrestoration model based on craniofacial morphology．The main content of the paper includesthe following four points:(1) Analyze the present study results in realistic processing at home and abroad andcontends related issues that need to be resolved under the necessity and urgency ofresearching in this field．(2) Analyze the demarcating and digital transformation of feature points of scull andface.(3)Realize realistic reflection of facial color and age through the using of texturemapping technology and to propose a new approach that enables the drawing of human’sfaces through human-computer interaction.(4) Develop a computer-aided realistic face processing system, which meets the practicalneeds of realistic face treatment and is developed based on Visual C++6．0and VTK OpenGL3D graphics library.
