With the conduct of the electricity market reform, the state also increased the effort topromote coal prices market-oriented reform. However, frequent changes in the price ofcoal, railways, road transport strength ebbed and flowed, with the impact of adverseweather, coal supply tight repeatedly occurred in Henan power generation companies.Firstly the thesis reviews the research status of the storage of coal in the power systemmargin warning and summarizes the relevant theoretical and applied research in the coalstorage.Secondly, coal storage has some characteristics that different from the other storage.Under the conditions of a brief analysis of the coal situation in Henan Province, throughthe analysis of the characteristics of the coal storage the paper studies the issues to beconsidered in the coal storage, proposes power coal storage warning program design, andprogram used to forecast and a brief introduction to the content of the coal forecast part.Thirdly, the coal storage warning model need to predict the coal consumption, coalconsumption is related to the thermal power plants generating unit status, unit coalconsumption coefficient, so predicting the daily generation scheduling of the power systemin the region is needed, from taking into account the electricity supply of the power systempoint of view, consider coal number of days available indicators developed dailygeneration scheduling based on priority list.Then, the thesis proposes the coal storage warning of a series of steps to focus on theselection of the warning level and warning threshold value, the model and implementationprocess.Finally, according to the needs of the system characteristics, a margin of early warningsystem of the coal storage is designed by Java SWT/JFace, the Hibernate open sourceframework. Combined with a system flow chart and software interface diagrams, carriedout a detailed introduction to the structure of the system design and functionalmodules. The system has been delivered to the power sector in Henan Province, running ingood condition.
