With the rapid development of remote sensing technology, the demand of remotesensing data users are increasingly high, the demand of high-performance remote sensingimage mosaic is also growing, due to foreign remote sensing image processing software isexpensive and technology blockade, the domestic software performance cannot meet theneeds of auto business. As a result, to realize a high-performance system for remotesensing image has become an urgent demand. This paper by the high performance clusterfor parallel computing supporting environment, studied the high performance mosaictechnology and cluster job-management technology, design and implement the highperformance mosaic system for remote sensing image.The main content of this paper is as follows:(1) First based on the idea of "platform" to integration design the system, absorbed theadvantages of the domestic and foreign outstanding remote sensing imageprocessing software, the system framework, processes and functions are designedfor the high performance mosaic system.(2) Studied high performance mosaic technology for remote sensing image. A bisectorseamline algorithm which is based on the geometric characters of the remotesensing images valid areas and a feathering algorithm which is based on theeffective mosaic polygon are proposed, combined with parallel mosaic technology,to realize automatic fast mosaic with the remote sensing image, and achieved goodvisual effect.(3) Studied cluster job-management technology for remote sensing image. Based oncluster scheduling software Condor, realize the cluster scheduling system for remotesensing image, and laid the foundation for fast image processing, efficiency jobscheduling and the rational allocation of resources.
