Satellite remote sensing as a means of earth observation technology, has the ability to spatial information to a large area, but because of the access cycles is limited, it can not provide the affected areas for remote sensing images in the first time, so it can not meet the requirement of time in the emergency incident. The UAV remote sensing as a new remote sensing technology, with mobile and flexible, timely and many other advantages, has the ability to access remote sensing images rapidly in the disaster mitigation and other emergency incidents, so it has become a powerful complementary to satellite remote sensing and airborne remote sensing. UAV remote sensing images with the features of small and numerous, so there must be have a quick stitching for a huge number of UAV remote sensing images to get a thorough understanding about disaster affected areas, and the result image can quickly be superimposed with google earth, etc., by this way the spatial distribution of the disaster can be grasp fastly, so it facilitates the subsequent rescue, etc.This paper carried out a series of two directions on related work, they are the method of coordinate information images mosaic and the method of SIFT features images mosaic. And the study concluded that:(1) the method of coordinate information images mosaic has relatively poor results, but with a geographic coordinate information; (2) the method of SIFT feature images mosaic has high accuracy in terms of images registration, but there will be many cumulative errors in images mosaic, and it will be make mosaiced image have a lot of geometric distortion in the sequence of numerous images. Based on the above findings, this paper has combined the above two methods, and a new method that can fully use the advantages of the above two methods was proposed, that is the fine-tune coordinates image mosaic method. The new method not only meets the conditions that mosaiced image has geographic coordinate information, but also a good solution to images registration problems and the overall visual effect.The new method through a large number of UAV remote sensing images sequence tested and verified, and result shows the effectiveness of the new method:(3) it can be have a rapid mosaic for several dozen UAV remote sensing images, and optimal stitching line fusion method not only make mosaiced image have high accuracy, and the overall visual effect is better; (4) Mosaic image with geographic coordinates, can be superimposed with google earth and other software to achieve the spatial location, so it can do good work for disaster mitigation and other emergency work. Through this research shows that, although the UAV's POS system accuracy is relatively low, but POS data still can be used for UAV images mosaic, it not only has great significance for the application of UAV remote sensing technology, but also has a very high practical value.
