The paper committed to the design used to install Mie scattering sensor monitoring thepipeline section, to solve the problem of pollution easily and dismounting frequently bytraditional structure.Firstly, it expounds the research background and research significance of the installationstructure with Mie scattering sensors, including historical development of a variety of ways toinstall, problems and difficulties encountered traditional installation structure. Thenintroduced the theoretical basis of the Mie light scattering sensors and the characteristic of gas–solid’s two-phase flow in monitoring pipe network, the traditional basic structure ofmonitoring and flow forms in several local pipe, which provides the basis for the installationof new light scattering sensor. Finally it make sure research ideas, develop a program of work.Through the theoretical study of design and the improvement of practical product defects,it design a mutational pipe section in diameter that could replace the traditional installation,which could separate the mainstream of dust and protect stream cleanly from each other, wipeout the influence of smoke concentration varied, verified by numerical simulation. On thisbasis, it make a experimental analysis in several different structures with the smoke airflow,then observe actual pollution situation of lens under different structure, and get the bestairflow protect of the design.It build a mathematical model of the flow field inside mutational pipe structure, whilemaking sure suitability of structure design. Mathematical model describe the relationshipbetween pressure-flow rate, distribution of soot particles in control volume, such as themathematical relationship between the factors and lens protective effect. In the deepmathematical analysis, to find the Mie mutation relations between the pipe geometricdimensions and the protective effect. Through analysis of mathematical models and usingMATLAB software to optimize the geometry, it make air purging effect and soot content bestunder constraints and certain parameters when mainstream pipe diameter is110mm, theembedded depth is10mm.After getting the reasonable size, it make a simulation analysis on the size relationshipand results of the analysis through CFD numerical simulation. Finally to further validate mathematical model and the rationality of the optimization analysis through the simulationresults.
