Wireless Mash Networks(WMNs) are important technology to establish theconnection between Internet and the wireless terminals. As WMNs applicationsbecome more and more popular, the number of users grows quickly and the quality ofservice needs to be improved. In recent years, some routing algorithms have beenposed to solve the problems in WMNs in order to guarantee the quality of service andimprove the reliability of network services. According to how many paths a routingalgorithm uses, we can divide all routing algorithms into two classes: single-pathrouting and multipath routing. Compared with single path routing algorithms,multipath routing algorithms has much more advantage in loading balance andthroughput. However, most multipath algorithms pay much attention to the multipathdiscovery and multipath maintenance, while ignoring the traffic allocation problem,which is just the problem we focus on. The traffic allocation problem may lead tomany other problems such as low utilization ratio of the bandwidth and the jitter.When we try to analyze the load on different paths when using the simplestmultipath routing algorithms we found that the load changes just like SimpleHarmonic Motion, Which inspires us to use physic and mathematic methods andtools to analyze the loading balance problems. And then we design a new trafficallocation algorithm and provide theoretical guarantees for our algorithms.In this paper, we realize DBTA based on Dynamic Source Routing protocol.Performance comparison using Network Simulator simulation shows that DBTA canreally achieve improvement in decreasing the packet delay variance...
