E-ticket’s Authentication Of Railway Telephone Booking

The verifiability of electronic tickets is a key technology of takingthe electronic tickets into the automatic system for booking train tickets.It relates to the ticket holder’s privacy information and the authenticityand validity of the ticket.This paper focuses on verifiability of electronic tickets, expoundingon such related subjects as electronic ticket form, encryption&verificationof information carried, and information security. It recommends a2D codetechnology as the technical means to improve electronic ticket’s verifiabilityand a cryptographic technology to safeguard personal information. It isconcluded with a new electronic ticketing scheme that is designed to addressneeds of information integrity, verifiability, and security in ticket bookingby phone.The outcome of our research should be conducive to the work of buildinga safer, fairer, quicker, and more efficient electronic ticketing system fortrain ticket booking by phone, thereby helping cope with increasing ticketbooking demands. While affording passengers access to superior and efficientticketing services at reduced costs, such a system will lay down a solidfoundation for extending services in future.
