The Design And Implementation Of Software Testing For Upgrading The Military HIS

The information system of military hospital, which is also called “No1Military” system,has been commonly adopted in different army hospitals. With the continuous development ofcomputer technology and medical technology, the original function modules of this systemcan’t meet the medical personnel’s needs any longer. The increasing functional requirementsof the medical staff calls for the upgrading in the military HIS(hospital information system). Itis necessary that the software must go through rigorous testing before it is put into the actualuse. The quality of current software, however, has so many disadvantages that we must adopteffective software testing to ensure the software’s quality and reliability. Considering qualityand reliability, we must have an effective testing to the upgrading functional module.Therefore, it becomes an important research topic for the IT personnel of different militaryhospitals to have a research to the upgrading software of military HIS.This paper firstly introduces the disposition and structures of the military HIS, and has abrief introduction to the principles, methods and examples which are needed in the software’stesting of this system. In addition, it also puts forward an improved software’s testing modulebased on the traditional V model. According to the improved software’s testing module, itgives a detailed description to the upgrading process, and the testing methods, testingexamples, testing results and many other aspects during the upgrading process.The experiment results showed the testing module proposed in the paper is effective. Themore effective ways to the upgrading of the module in the military HIS were demonstrated bythe module improved, and a good guidance to the upgrading process of other military HIS hasbeen brought.
