The digital signal processing is the important means of underwater acoustic application.With the development of the times and task increasing, the underwater platform need moresignal processing performance. Multi-nodes digital signal processing platform become theimportant hardware support of underwater acoustic application.It can support for thebuoy,ROV and underwater platform. This thesis research how to design a digital signalprocessing platform on ROV with low noise,high reliability, low power consumption,andrealize the communication between each node.The signal processing platform mainly comprises a bottom board, a signal processingboard, switch board and platform monitoring board. Using OMAP-L137as the mainchip,the ARM is the network and DSP controler,and the DSP realize digital signalprocessing function. Transplanted Linux operating system to ARM.The ARM realizes thenetwork function,loading the DSP program,controling the DSP power and reliability anddata communication with the DSP.The DSP complete collecting,processing and sending thesignal.This paper first introduced the overall design scheme of the platform,then analyzed thehardware design of each part of the platform.Detailed analyzed the choice of devices andrealizing hardware for each part of platform.Then explain how to make a Linux operatingsystem, including the Ubl program,U-boot,Linux kernel,making the file system andmounting the driver program.Made a complete Linux operating system.Expain how to startand control the DSP.At lase,designed the software of the platform,including Linux,DSP andMSP430three part program,and analyze the program of each part.Completed all program ofthe platform.This platform complete the experiment on Songhua lake,and run well to completecommunication and digital signal processing function. Achieve the desired objectives.
