In recent years, global warming and shortage of energy impel people all over the world to take action on energy conservation and emission reduction. Power consumption on general lighting accounts for15%-20%of the whole electricity consumption in the world. If we totally put high luminous efficacy of white LED (Light Emitting Diodes) to use, the power consumption on lighting will be cut down by50%. Comparing with traditional lighting source, one of the strong points is its small size. But it is just because the difference on small size and distribution of luminous intensity between LED and traditional lighting source that make the strong points of LED can’t be exploited fully. Moreover, it can cause serious lighting waste and pollution. So it is important to make design of LED illumination. Furthermore, it is easy to achieve small size on system and cut down the cost on condition of enlarging the ration of utilization of energy for green illumination.After summing up the research achievement on second design of LED illumination, this paper creatively put forward flow-line method with equipartition and foci map, which is based on edgy-ray theory, conservation of etendue and flow-line theory. Then we develop a set of design proposal of uniform light LED tubes. By designing, emulating and analyzing the uniform light LED tubes, we fully demonstrate the feasibility of this design method. And we design a surface for illuminance optimization using GUI of MATLAB, which make the design of LED tubes easily. The innovation of this thesis can be concluded as follow:1. Aiming at the characteristic of LED:small size, great luminance,2n of emitting angle and so on, we creatively put forward flow-line method with equipartition and foci map. Designed with this proposal lighting system not only keep high uniformity and ratio of emergent light, but also realize miniaturization of the whole system and cut down the cost of this kind of lighting system.2. Based on this theorem:flow-line method with equipartition and foci map we develop a set of design proposal of LED tubes. This theorem can be used in a series of lighting camps,such as spotlight, strip light, streetlight and so on. This proposal not only can be applied to varisized LED tubes, but also can be used to design different camps fitted various need.3.The comparison between ellipse flow-line method with equipartition and foci map and flow-line method with complementation and foci map, so that the flow-line method with equipartition and foci map is an effective design method.4. Make the optimization interface. Using the GUI of MATLAB, we end the elder optimization process which is complicated, difficultly operating.
