In recent years, the traditional mobile voice service has already tend to saturation, themobile communication value-added service gain a great success after marketed, the telecomsystem equipment which provide business support for it has also got a rapid development.However, with the increase of users and communication quality requirements, thecommunication load between system boards becomes heavier.This paper describes an internal communication protocol module based on basic softwareplatform architecture in mobile switching system, which is generated under this environment andachieves efficient, reliable and real-time exchange between processor boards and modules in thenew structure. The main achievements around the entire design and implementation of themodule are as follows:1. Based on the VxWorks real-time multitask operation system used by the system, Icarefully studied its task scheduling mechanism, task programming methods and communicationmechanism between tasks, which pave the necessary way for the compile of veneer programstage.2. Detailed studied the TCP/IP protocol stack, especially analyzed the transport layerprotocol and reliable transmission mechanism, and designed internal communication protocol forboards communication of the Ethernet LAN.3. Studied the EISP basic software platform architecture of IPS system, and studied theimportant functional modules of internal communication module in platform software that mustinteract with it, such as message mechanisms, timers, message buffer modules, etc, familiar withits working principle and function interface offered for external.4. Designed and implemented a set of communication modules used for transmittingmessages between processor boards and modules within system, achieve the reliable andefficient message-transmission between modules. The main work in which is the design ofreliable transmission mechanism and UDP link bases, the logical channel, the design of ICPunderlying path structure and various frame structures, and the design and implementation of data receiving and delivering and processing functions.5. After the implementation of function modules, use the debugging tool to testcommunication modules, test whether the ICP channel reached the requirements of reliability,timeliness and efficiency.The test shows that, the internal communication module under new framework will enablethe reliable exchange of information between master control and slave control modules, thuseffectively alleviate the problem of growing communication load between boards, caused by theincrease of systematic users and communication quality requirements.
