Laser transceiver as an electric-optical tracking device is used in the laser communication of free-space, in order to detect it’s crude-tracking precesion and provide reliable research basis for improving it we designed a new detection device in this paper, the device detect it’s tracking precesion indoor with the method of simulating infinity dynamic target.The paper provide a new method after analysed and compared to other tracking precesion detection methods, introduced the detection principle carefully and simulated the indicators identified; designed the structure and control system of detection device; finally, analysed the precesion of it.This detection device is designed based on the Laser transceiver can send self-laser after it receives laser from another laser transceiver, we install high frame rate digital camera on it, and use the miss distance that Laser transceiver’s laser happened in it to judge the crude-tracking precison of Laser transceiver, the results is more close to the real tracking precesion of Laser transceiver. Furthermore, we also install laser-target indicators on the rotating center of detection device and simulate light, it is easy to find the conical point and reduce the adjusting time. For detecting tracking precision of laser communication transceiver it is a new try, it gives a feasible way for the further research.
