In this paper we take the existing light source model as an example,use coherent optics and diffraction theory which in turbulent media and the Huygens-Fresnel principle to induce the mathematical expression of degree of polarization(DOP) which propagation in atmosphere. Analysed the change of polarization on propagation in free space and turbulence space and use the software of Matlab to simulate the influence of DOP on different parameters of source,propagation distance etc. And use cross-spectral density matrix and Stoks vector to analysis the change of polarization which propagation through turbulent space test it with atmospheric turbulence simulator.Through the analysis we get the DOP will finally get a stable value when the distance is long enough(about106) wether in free space or in turbulent.Other parameters will affect only the curve changes speed but does not affect on the curve trend.And the parlarization state of completely polarizde GSM beams is not change in the turbulent atmosphere.
