With the rapid development of modern economy, there are a variety of industries,many of them due to its special nature, belongs to a type of protection that requires avery high level of security, in addition to prevent all forms of looting, stealing, Piratesof the criminal cases outside, but also pay attention to some potential pitfalls, such asfire. So we can take advantage of a new type of embedded remote video surveillancetechnology and smoke detection technology to prevent these potential pitfalls.Traditional security monitoring system, mainly through the camera acquisition tothe analog signal, through a dedicated data transmission line such as a fiber, cable andother transmission to the display device to display, because of the transmissiondistance is long, transmission efficiency is low and the video signal definition is notclear. Later with the development through the using of professional video chipacquisition which based on PC video security monitoring system appears. But in somevery important filds, which need much angle, all-around monitoring, that needs toinstall multiple video capture camera or multiple sensors (such as smoke, temperaturesensor and so on), and then collected by the camera video signal sent to a specializedvideo processing chip, and the system requirements for each camera are matched to aprofessional chip design, leading to rising costs, system is responsible, reliable,cost-effective in terms of is not very competitive advantage.With the the development of science and technology, embedded network videomonitoring and smoke detection system develops a kind of new video securitymonitoring system which based on embedded technology, video coding and networktransmitting technique, sensor technology,it has the advantages of high processingspeed, easily exploiting, strong stability, real time, high performance-price ratio, highefficiency transmission. This paper based on ARM920T architecture S3C2440Aembedded remote monitoring and control system design and research. Optimizationof the first video signal acquisition method, improve collection efficiency, the design used in the four input video controller for TW2834, will be collected analog videoinput signal, by adding the OSD environment information, the video signal is sent to adisplay on the display. Due to the adoption of the AT89C51control TW2834, make avideo acquisition unit to form a modular design, increase the flexibility of productdesign, reduce the system hardware and software design difficulty,so it is conduciveto the expansion and development of two times; on the other hand, the TW2834acquisition of analog video signal is converted into digital signals through the later,sent to the video compression chip AL9V576encoding, dramatically improving thecompression and transmission efficiency. After the video signal is sent to the SD store,DM9000card is connected with the background, the stored video data transmission.In the local, through the single-chip AT89C51cotrol the smoke sensor MQ-N5andanalog to digital conversion chip AD0809,, once detected smoke, exceeded thewarning value provides a fire alarm signal.
