The LED screen is new global developed rapidly information media in the lateeighties, because of its high reliability, long life, environmental adaptability, highcost-effective price,low cost and so on.In just a dozen years, the LED screenquickly developed mainstream products in flat-panel display field. While the scaleof development about the china’s LED screen, the product technology improvedand has been advanced level, gradually enter foreign markets. China is already thelargest LED products suppli er in the world, domestic production of LE Ddisplay technology is basic and the world. In the LED display production process,Diode Cartridge process using a large number of manual operations. The artificialplug-in has many shortcomings such as high cost, low reliability and so on.itrestrict Production quality and efficiency of the LED screen. Atpresent, China’s coastal labor costs rise, need automatic replacement equipment.This is the design of the LED automatic insertion machines for the above needs.This article includes design a plug-in machine transmission device, designfeasibility program for the x-y table, the realization method about Hardwarearchitecture and software of the motion control system. According to designrequirements, design and study of precision three-tier table and diode polarity todistinguish and transport mechanism; The pin alignment rebound of diode wereanalyzed; at the same time design hardware and software of Rail’s motion. Thestudy proposed Electromagnetic polarity identification device and tiltingtwo-direction polarity rotary device for polarity identification(have applied for twopatents for inventions).The study has a very important significance aboutimproving Plug-in machine’s efficiency and simplify device.According to the analysis of various process step in the plug-in process.The subject put forward automatic replacement equipment and analysis thefeasibility of program. On the basis, it has completed the module planning andstructural design, preliminary design goals.
